National Joint Council, Pension, Health, Disability & Dental Benefits for TB employees
For most union members, indeed many PSAC members, collective bargaining is the time to put all workplace issues on the table. Due to the way negotiations developed in the federal public service and the legislation under which unions operate in this sector, Treasury Board and certain agency members negotiate some benefits outside the normal bargaining process.
- National Joint Council (including a variety of benefits related to travel, relocation, commuting, health and safety, isolated posts and foreign service)
- Public Service Disability Insurance Plan (under the auspices of the National Joint Council, but a separate plan)
- Public Service Health Care Plan
- PSAC Public Service Dental Plan
- Public Service Pension Plan
