Don’t cut public services
The Harper government is moving forward with $4 billion in cuts to public services. Treasury Board President Tony Clement is threatening to axe public services. He wants to put our jobs and the services that we provide at risk.
Government departments will be asked to present plans to cut program spending by 5 and 10% across-the-board. A Cabinet committee led by Tony Clement will make the final decision.
