NAIM Questionnaire

Project Summary

PSAC, as part of its overall anti-oppression strategy and its particular commitment to Aboriginal rights education and advocacy throughout the NAIM Network, is planning to engage the Activist School and its network of Aboriginal educators to develop 5 days of curriculum on Aboriginal issues for PSAC’s education program. The Activist School is a pan-Canadian network of progressive groups and organizations, including PSAC, that is developing and delivering progressive political education within an anti-oppression framework.

Activist School has prepared a questionnaire to aid them in the development of the course content please take some time to give us your input by answering the following questions.

Developing Curriculum on Aboriginal Issues

  1. What would you hope to get out of this course? What would make it interesting to you or worth your time?



  2. What would you like non-Aboriginal participants to get out of this course?



  3. What would you like PSAC to get out of this course?



  4. Which issues or barriers specifically confronting Aboriginal people in your workplace or region should be dealt with in this course?



  5. What are some issues or challenges specific to Aboriginal people's participation in PSAC that might be addressed in this course?
