Nav Canada Negotiations: Notice to Bargain Has Been Sent
Your bargaining team met in Ottawa on March 10th and 11th to finalize the union's package of demands in preparation for negotiations. Guided by the discussions held during the bargaining conference in February, the team members made a final selection of demands and began the process of drafting revised language for the collective agreement. Once the demands have been presented to the employer, they will be posted on the web-site.
Notice to Bargain has now been served on the employer, along with a request for bargaining dates in May. We remain committed to trying to reach a deal before the expiry of the present collective agreement at the end of June. Bargaining dates will be posted on the web-site as soon as they are finalized.
