Museum Strike: PSAC awaits word from mediator and re-states willingness to bargain in good faith
Today, the Museum of Civilization Corporation (CMCC) communicated on its website that it wants to get back to discussions and that they believe our dispute can be resolved.
The corporation also indicates in its communication that it is prepared
to meet.
In a September 23 letter to PSAC National President John Gordon, CMCC CEO Victor Rabinovitch states that, "we remain willing to talk."
The union's negotiating team remains prepared, as it has stated from the outset, to meet and negotiate in good faith in an effort to reach an agreement. This has been communicated – repeatedly – to Federal Mediation Services, both before and during our current labour dispute.
We await word from the Federal Mediator.
