National Gallery workers to show solidarity for workers on strike at the Museum of Civilization and War Museum

Ottawa – Despite 11 lay-offs at the National Gallery of Canada and more lay-offs expected in the near future, PSAC members at the Gallery express their solidarity for other workers. They will give $1,000 to their sisters and brothers on strike at the Museum of Civilization in Gatineau.

PSAC members will gather at Noon under the spider at the NGC and they will cross the Ottawa River on the Alexandra Bridge to bring financial and moral support to their sisters and brothers on strike at the Museum of Civilization.
