TC Bargaining Team Awaits PIC Recommendations
Your Bargaining Team is looking forward to recommendations from the Public Interest Commission, which should be officially released within the next several days.
The PIC heard submissions from the TC Bargaining Team and from Treasury Board on November 13-15, 2012.
Normally the PIC has 30 days to report, but can ask for an extension if necessary. The PIC sends its report the Public Service Labour Relations Board, which has the report translated, so it is understandable that the official release may take a few more days.
Your Bargaining Team remains hopeful that the recommendations from the PIC will serve as a roadmap to a new tentative agreement.
