We are all affected
National Day of Action in support of public services Saturday, September 15
![]()
On Saturday, September 15 PSAC members across the country will be demonstrating their support for public services and talking about how the cuts are affecting all Canadians.
We'll be talking about the impact on economies: about rural communities alongside national parks, historic sites and canals whose economies are being hit by cuts to visitor seasons, and about small businesses in big cities which are losing public service workers as customers.
We'll be talking about the impact on services Canadians rely on: about how cuts are hurting seniors, the unemployed and veterans, and putting food safety at risk.
We'll also talk about how cuts to seach and rescue along our coastlines are putting lives at risk.
Canadians from all walks of life are feeling the impact of federal cuts: we'll be sharing their stories and protesting these cuts.
Join us in standing together for public services.
Check out your PSAC regional office Facebook page or web site for news on how you can participate.
